It was a long journey indeed from Covid era and it's already 2 years plus since my last post. Surprised to see this blog around and at the same time felt like it was just last month. Heck!
Now that the lockdown has lifted, international travel is allowed even for China, I truly have no other reasons for not to restart my journaling habits again. So what has changed really?
To date *touch wood* I am still Covid virgin. Yet, have been on a few flights so far and the furthest was my flight to Perth. Plus even with only one booster shot, no mask during my travels around Western Australia, I am grateful :)
Many things have changed across this period, in fact, I just found out that kids these days do not read much. They rather watch Youtube or Tik Tok for information. Facebook is a thing of the past. Have we transformed into a visual beings? Perhaps.
Although I do find videos on Youtube draggy, perhaps it helps with the content creators to monetize more by adding more viewer's time. Sometimes I watch them, sometimes I don't. Most of the time I just let the video run on the background while doing other items. Guess this blog would be irrelevant to the youngsters since reading isn't much their forte. Or perhaps once they realised that they need to stream for 5 mins to obtain 1 minute of information, they would fall back to reading?
